1. Check eligibility - this will include checking your postcode and details of the project you would like to fund - the best way to do this is to talk to our team. There are also guidance notes and an Applicants Handbook on the website for you to download and read.
You can also look at the maps on this website. If you are in any doubt, please contact the LEADER team to check your postcode.
2. Outline Applications - You can download an Application form here: Outline_Application_Form_V1_9_1.xls or contact out team for a copy. This will ask for an overview of your project, project financials and some questions about the justification for your grant request. This will be assessed for eligibility and then considered by the Local Action Group (LAGS) if successful you will be asked to complete a Full Application.
3. Full Applications - You will be asked to provide more detailed and comprehensive information about your proposed project including quotes for the work, cash flow forecasting and projected job creation. This will then be assessed for eligibility and quality before again being considered by the LAG. Remember - completing a full application is not a guarantee that you will be successful.
If successful we will go through the contracting and claims process with you. Please be aware that here will be a requirement to provide evidence at all stages of the claims process.
We will consider applications on an on going basis and these will be submitted to our LAG at the earliest opportunity - our LAG meets every 8 weeks to consider new proposals.
