Grant rates will vary depending on the type of project, but most business grants will be given at 40% of the total cost of eligible activity, requiring 60% cash match from applicants. This means the Programme will see over £3M spent in the South Pennines.

All grants are paid in arrears, after the spend has happened, so applicants need to think carefully about ensuring they have sufficient personal funds to cover all expenditure before grant claims can be made.
